Amat Amas Amo Q&A

Anonymous asked:

I had a sense that the satirical irony might amuse you. I also take a slight sadistic pleasure in the anonymity in asking the question anonymously, a cheap thrill if you will. x

Quite understandable, and admirable no less.

I hope my answer provided you with some insight, at least. I am heinously tired, so it could well make little sense when I wake tomorrow and review.

'Art is the window to man's soul. Without it, he would never be able to see beyond his immediate world; nor could the world see the man within.' It is clear you have a keen eye & are immensely talented, you say everything but yet i cant help but feel you reveal nothing. Is there a purposeful disconnect? Or do you consider those mediums in which you choose to express yourself to be the truest & it is me who has revealed my ignorance? x

The first thing that came to mind upon reading this, was the question as to why you chose to make yourself anonymous? Although I rather enjoyed the slightly satirical irony of the fact.

In response, though, I have always worked under pseudonyms, for the sake of allowing myself the option of becoming everything that the facade is playing. Each variable is still a product of myself, thus invariably honest and very much still me, but I learnt that if one is to divide one’s interests into separated groups, the one can simply choose which they’re most suited to at the time of inspiration and so surround themselves with it.

I have always said that those who wish to know me, should watch me perform. And the very same can be said for viewing my output with Amat Amas Amo, too. It is a case of everything I truly am being concentrated into as much versatility as is possible, so as to produce the very truest of product.

If the obvious doesn’t simply jump at you, then I can assure you it can be found between the lines. Dwelling where all real clarity lies.

Anonymous asked:

so.... errr.... do you like tits??

Good God!

Who doesn’t?

But if you must refer to them with such vulgarity, then perhaps you’ve slightly missed the point?

Anonymous asked:

what camera do you use? and did you study photography at uni?

I use a Canon 550d, w/ a selection of lenses, though mainly a 50mil prime.

I didn’t go to University, nor did I study photography. It was more something that I saw as an addition to self therapy, from a young age. There was always a moment of sanity felt in the shutter’s closure.

My Father also shot for a pornographic magazine as his first job. And at around the age of 8, I found the negatives and prints in the attic and from that point forth, knew I wanted to capture a similar beauty.

You have so much creative freedom. love&hate, Envious

I’d go so far as to say each and every one of us has such, it’s merely a matter of finding the time to nurture it. Or more so, finding it in oneself firstly.

I grew up amidst raw exposure to consistent creativity, so I knew nothing else when I reached an age of being able to think for myself. Therefore it seem so natural to simply ‘do things’. No necessarily for any other reason than the sake of experiencing the process of extraction from mind to physical form.

I just enjoy the idea of allowing the mind enough flattery to keep it constantly expanding and wishing to evolve. And if, through doing so, I can inspire other minds too, then I can die knowing I did what I was put here to do.

Anonymous asked:

So fashion right then?

Cryptic.

p.s please re-ask this question in a manner than I can decipher, so that I can provide you with a worthy answer. Thank you.

Anonymous asked:

If you HAD to go to university what would you major in?

At this moment in time, I honestly couldn’t say, as that which I study in my own time, is an amalgamation of what I’d like to study as a whole.

Perhaps a hybrid course, that comprised of all the studies I admire, being poetics, botany, philosophy, perfumery, literature, ‘the arts’, psychology and occult history.

Though such doesn’t exist as a course, so instead, I have made it my own.

The Church of Amat Amas Amo.

Anonymous asked:

Where is that derelict house you shot in?!

It sits deep within a woodland, not very far from where I live.

Surrounded by little more than a 5 mile radius of forestry and silence.

Anonymous asked:

How do you spend your days and nights?

I spend my nights awake; concocting, moulding, crafting, sampling, learning, consciously dreaming, continuously working. Thusly spend my days sleeping ‘till gone noon, then I repeat the cycle.

Where my professionalism knows no bounds, is in the art of solitude. For this is where I am at one with all elements necessary for evolution and inspiration.

Anonymous asked:

Do you like Dairylea Triangles?

The level of quality that some of the questions on here have reached would be precisely the reason why I spend less and less time checking them.

I do not, no. If and when I do eat cheese, which is incredibly rarely, I tend to work with either camembert, gruyere, boursin or a strong, English cheddar.
